Dhaka, 1 July 2025 – EXPOPRO, the Center for Business Development and Communications, and a leading private Trade and Investment Promotion Organization (TIPO) in Bangladesh, proudly marked its 15th Anniversary with a day-long celebration at Club’89 Limited, Gulshan, Dhaka. Themed “Celebrating 15 Years of EXPOPRO: A Journey of Commitment and Excellence,” the event paid tribute to EXPOPRO’s transformative role in advancing trade, attracting foreign investment, empowering SMEs, and strengthening Bangladesh’s global business footprint since its establishment in 2010.

The celebration brought together a distinguished assembly of diplomats, chamber leaders, entrepreneurs, strategic partners, and industry experts. Esteemed guests included:

Formal Ceremony & Reflections on a 15-Year Legacy
The evening commenced with a networking session, followed by a recitation from the Holy Qur’an and a moment of silence to honor departed souls. The highlight of the formal segment was the Founder’s Address by Md. Mamunur Rahman, Founder & CEO of EXPOPRO, who unveiled the EXPOPRO 15th Anniversary Logo — a symbolic reflection of the organization’s journey, resilience, and vision for the future.
In his address, Mr. Rahman reflected on EXPOPRO’s contributions over the past 15 years, including organizing international trade delegations, hosting business forums and seminars, implementing capacity-building initiatives, and developing its signature Business Membership Program. He emphasized EXPOPRO’s role in fostering sustainable trade development, facilitating investment, and promoting Bangladesh’s image as a competitive global trade partner.
Recognizing Partnerships and Strategic Alliances -
As a key part of the celebration, certificates were awarded to participants of two international seminars organized by EXPOPRO, while Business Membership Cards were distributed to new members. The event also honored valued collaborators through an Appreciation Crest Ceremony, where EXPOPRO recognized the contributions of its key strategic partners, moderators, and implementing agencies.
Special congratulatory crests were presented by: Aayan Rahman of Stryke.
These tokens acknowledged EXPOPRO’s pioneering efforts in trade facilitation, SME support, and global outreach.
Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were also signed with EXPOPRO and Metamorphosis to solidify strategic cooperation in upcoming initiatives.

The celebration was further enriched by a series of concurrent seminars and trade displays that highlighted innovation, thought leadership, and cross-sector collaboration:
1) “MIHAS 2025: Pinnacle of Halal Excellence”
Moderated by Md. Mamunur Rahman, the session featured a presentation by Md. Newaz Sharif Patwary of BMCCI emphasized the importance of the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) as a premier platform for Halal trade. The discussion centered on how Bangladeshi businesses can utilize MIHAS 2025 to promote Halal-certified products, attract foreign buyers, and explore new global market segments.
2) “Art Unveiled: A Live Painting & Lecture Experience”
Curated by Brain Huddle, this creative segment featured a live painting and interactive lecture by celebrated artist Md. Abdur Razzaque Prodhan Liton, moderated by Ar. Kazi AR - Rafiur Rahman, CEO of Brain Huddle. Through bold visuals and thoughtful commentary, the session explored the intersection of art, innovation, and entrepreneurship, offering a refreshing and expressive take on transformation in business.
3) “Odoo – The All-in-One Business Management Software Suite”
In collaboration with Metamorphosis Ltd., this tech-focused seminar was presented by Sadiq M. Alam and moderated by Md Alimuzzaman Nayan, Manager of Business Communication. The session introduced Odoo, an open-source digital ERP platform that integrates core business functions, including finance, HR, sales, CRM, and operations. Attendees learned how digital tools like Odoo can help SMEs streamline processes, boost productivity, and drive sustainable growth.
Cultural Performances, Cake Cutting & Closing Moments
The event concluded with an engaging cultural segment featuring music, performances, and refreshments. A cake-cutting ceremony symbolized celebration and renewal, followed by a group photo capturing the collective spirit of the evening.
